Staffed by a team of dedicated, compassionate professionals, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere where resident and family needs are met, preferences are addressed, and input is valued.

We are committed to nurturing an environment where residents and their loved ones can feel at home. Located in a quiet neighborhood, our warm, welcoming community is filled with natural lighting that pours through our skylights and spacious windows. Private and semi-private rooms look out onto the secured courtyard that is complete with a gazebo and gardening areas. We feature two dining rooms, various activity areas, and a variety of relaxed settings and spaces that are perfect for leisure and social interaction.
At Avalon Care Center – Portland, we provide residents with a wide range of opportunities for engagements and activities that improve their cognitive and mobility functions and give a boost to their quality of life.

Activities
We believe that activities are an integral part of a care community. Whether your loved one prefers activities independently or taking part in one of our organized events, we have something for everyone. Our activities teams offer a diverse range of programs, including a garden group, exercise class, sensory activities, cooking class, musical entertainment, and various other special events. We also promote individualized activities that your loved one can enjoy independently, such as reading, puzzles, and art projects. Regardless of your loved one’s interests, we aim to provide specialized activities that are fun, stimulating, and appropriate.
Dining
At Avalon Care Center Portland, we recognize that each resident’s food preferences are unique. Offering a variety with regards to menu selection, choices at mealtimes and a menu that is reflective of the season’s fresh fruits & vegetables, our dietary department is dedicated to designing menus and creating meals that your loved one enjoyed at home.
